Patriarchal Marriage 

Marriage, taught and practiced in churches and the world at large is not the same marriage taught in the Scripture. This so-called monogamous marriage legislated by the government is based on Romantic sentiment or Roman love and is motivated by sexual desires and exploitations.  Once the Romance is over, the honeymoon is gone, marriage is broken and such marriage can be anulled and divorce and remarriage which is in essence a form of serial polygamy became a norm in married life. 

Patriarchal Marriage, on the other hand, is about headship and covering; about family and home; about raising  the seed (zera) of righteousness on earth. Patriarchal Marriage is YAH'S ordained marriage for the redemption of the fallen race.  Patriarchal marriage is based on the Torah.

When YAH made man, He said, "it is not good that man should remain alone, I will will make for him a helper to be his counterpart..  So Yahvah Elohim causeda deep sleep to fall on the man and he slept., , and He took one of his ribs and closed up flesh instead thereof.  And Yahvah ELOHIM  builded the rib which he had taken from the man into a woman and brought her unto the man. And the man said, This one now is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh!  This one shall be called Woman, for out of a man hath this one been taken.  For this cause will a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife, and THEY SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH."  Genesis 2:18, 21-24.

Man, we read was made and give dominion over the beasts of the field, the fowls of the air, and the fish of the waters.  That is a huge assignment and YAHVAH knew that it is not good for man to be alone.  So He made a woman out of him to be his helper.  YAH our Creator, Who made the earth, made man out of the earth to have dominion over the earth.  In the saame light, He made a Woman out of the man to be his helper.  A woman to help him raise a family and establish a home to raise up seeds of righteousness.  Thus, the family which is the nucleus of YAH's Kingdom is established, a man leaving his father and mother to cleave to his wife to establish his own family...
